Karen Eber Davis Consulting is proud to announce that Karen Eber Davis has been given the 2008 Trainer of the Year Award by the Nonprofit Resource Center of The Community Foundation of Sarasota. Ms. Davis, an idea consultant, facilitator and writer, was recognized for her significant pro-bono contributions to local nonprofits through training in grant writing, collaborations and planning. <!–[if !supportEmptyParas]–><!–[endif]–>

Karen Eber Davis helps nonprofit organizations gain resources for their mission– while improving their services and strengthening their organizations.  “In fifteen years of serving as a consultant to nonprofits, I’ve learned several important things. This is a great community with wonderful people who work daily to make it a better place…Some have left a legacy to the community so critical work can continue forever. We owe them a huge debt of gratitude. Others strive every single day in myriad ways to improve individual lives. It’s been a privilege to help nonprofits, their staff and volunteers find resources for their missions and to partner with the Nonprofit Resource Center in improving our community.”

The Community Foundation of Sarasota County’s Nonprofit Resource Center provides affordable and quality tools, education and resources to strengthen local nonprofit organizations. Services include weekly workshops and trainings, consulting services, a searchable grantmaker database, management library, organizational assessment tools and the Board Bank, a free board matching service.
