Your time is precious. You need to find more help and resources. To help you invest your time well, I help leaders like you blow the fluff and smoke away. As the air clears, you see your best path to your vision. You also discover tasks you can quit or no longer need to do in the same way.
Below, you’ll find a tip that didn’t make it in the text. Use it to enlist your team to help you raise millions together.
Does this ever happen in your organization?
At a meeting, you announce that everyone needs to invite someone to the next event. You get the usual response: nothing. Well, unless you count looking at the top of everyone’s heads as they gaze at their phones.
To avoid this and similar weak responses: get personal, specific, and repetitive. That is, use PSR.
Here’s an example.
Before the meeting, meet individually with several attendees. Share the request to invite someone to your next event. Together explore how the individual will fulfill the invitation. Keep going until you learn the name of who will be invited. As necessary, coach them on how to make the invitation.
At your meeting–the one where you were going to make a general request–ask the individuals with whom you worked to share their progress. Then, ask others how they’ll join these individuals completing the task.
At every meeting before the event, seek updates.
Sprinkle generous praise for every effort to fulfill your expectation.
Use PSR. You’ll see results, grow skills, and lead everyone to your vision.
